In my practice, I help my clients with a wide variety of issues, including relationship problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss and bereavement, and personal and professional growth to name just a few. I work with both individuals and families and draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, focusing on psychodynamic theory, humanistic psychology, and family systems theory. I incorporate techniques from various experiential approaches such as Gestalt therapy, psychodrama and art therapy and I also employ cognitive behavioral (CBT) tools at times. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and incorporate EMDR in my work.
I am comfortable providing therapy in English, Russian and Hebrew. As a daughter of immigrants and having recently lived abroad for several years, I understand the unique challenges inherent in immigration and migration, as one attempts to bridge two cultures, both within oneself and in daily life.
I am particularly keen on helping people overcome painful experiences in their pasts. These can, at times, hold us back from seeing our true potential, tuning into our inner voices, or identifying and pursuing our dreams. I will be by your side as we walk this path together until you are better able to live the fulfilling and rewarding life you wish to have.
